Scott Walter Gebhardt

Rock Hill, SC - Scott Gebhardt, born February 16, 1963, died Monday, September 18, 2023, in his home surrounded by friends and family.

Scott was born in Chicago IL and moved to the Carolinas with his family when he was 14 years old. Scott loved fishing, listening to music, and camping with his wife in their RV. He loved spending time with his friends and family.  Scott worked for Wichard Group North America for over 30 years as a sailboat mast assembler. Scott was a loyal loving friend to many.  He was a loving son, father, and husband and will be greatly missed.

Scott and Diane created a loving blended family that became one when they were married June 11, 2011.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Gebhardt Rock Hill; Parents, John & Nancy Gebhardt of Nebo NC; 3 Sons, Robert Gebhardt (Brittany) Rock Hill SC, Steven Gebhardt Cow Pens SC,  and William Frye (Angel) Clover SC; 2 daughters, Zoe Gibides Rock Hill SC, and Kaitlyn Gibides Rock Hill SC;  Sisters, Diane Schwarz (Richard) Shorewood IL, Linda Fasoli (Stuart) Prescott AZ, Karen Markusz (William) Liverpool NY and Patricia French Los Angeles CA; 2 nephews, Jonathan Schwarz Shorewood IL, and Anthony Vermeulen Syracuse NY, 2 nieces; Kaitlyn Schwarz Shorewood IL, and Nicole Vermeulen Miami FL.  8 grandchildren; 5 aunts; 4 uncles; 7 cousins.

He was preceded in by his grandparents Barbara and Andreas Gebhardt; Jean and Raymond Wysocki; cousins Jeff Zalewski, Yvonne Zalewski and Krisanna Gebhardt.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Elks Park Lodge located at 3958 Elks Park Rd Rock Hill SC 29732 on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 2PM – 6PM.

Family asks instead of flowers please donate to the American Cancer Society in honor of Scott.
