Shannon Griffin Martin

Shannon Griffin Martin, 52, Fort Mill, SC received her angel wings on July 16, 2024. She is now at peace in God’s loving arms and united with her daughter Brittany forever.

In addition to her father and loving step father, she was preceded in death by her daughter Brittany Martin Downen one year ago.

Shannon was a fun and beautiful person and always full of surprises. As a child she excelled in any activities she participated in; dancing, band, tennis and track. As an adult she worked in the service industry but dedicated most of her life to raising her two children.

Studying history of the world was Shannon’s passion. Her memory for details was amazing. She could tell you about people and events thousands of years ago. She had a vast knowledge of music and was the ideal trivia player with her friends.

Shannon loved all her family unconditionally. Survivors include her daughter, Cara Brynn Martin; mother, Barbara Massey Griffin; her precious companion dog, Peanut, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the home, Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 2-5 pm at 3333 Richard’s Crossing, Fort Mill, SC.
