Sharon Haire Drawdy

Sharon Haire Drawdy, 75, of Rock Hill, went to be with the Lord on July 6th, 2023.

Sharon was born July 25, 1947 in Rock Hill, SC to the late Velvie and T.C. Haire.

After she graduated from Fort Mill High School, she earned an Associates Degree at Columbia Commercial College.

Sharon was an active member of the Fort Mill Church of God where she had attended since she was an infant.

Sharon had a remarkable ability to connect with people, particularly children and the elderly. She loved to sing and play gospel music and attend Southern gospel concerts. She enjoyed traveling, girls trips and camping with her family and friends. She was an avid napper, shopper, and loved to decorate. She had a wonderful sense of humor and spoke her mind, which led to countless hilarious encounters.

Sharon was preceded in death by her mother Velvie Haire and father T.C. Haire, brother Larry Haire, and nephew Craig Haire. She is survived by her husband Lynn Drawdy, daughter Olivia Haire, and step-daughter Mandy Drawdy, all of Rock Hill. She is also survived by her brother Ted Haire (Terrie) of Fort Mill, SC, brother Tommy Haire of Charlotte, NC, and by sister Janice Cook (Ronnie) of Sunset Beach, NC, as well as her several nieces and nephews who she adored, and best friend since childhood, Charlotte Faulkenberry (Mike) of Rock Hill, SC.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 10, at Fort Mill Church of God at 11:00 in the old sanctuary, with the funeral service following at 1:00. The burial will be at Bass-Cauthen Cemetery in Rock Hill, SC immediately following the service.
