Rock Hill - Mrs. Sherry Ann Burns, 77, found eternal peace and was reunited with her husband, William “Tommy” Thomas Burns on Monday, May 17, 2021, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The family will receive friends 10:00 am – 11:30 am Friday, May 21, 2021 at Whitesell Funeral Home and a funeral service will follow at 11:30 am in the chapel. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park – Cherry Road.
Mrs. Burns was a daughter of the late Eldon Beaver and the late Elizabeth Bechtler Shirah. She was a member of the Leslie Church of God. She enjoyed her collectibles and crafts and spending time with her family.
Surviving are a brother, Randy Shirah; three sisters, Nancy (Buddy) Head, Jean (James) Head, and Hilda Beaver; two sons, Randy Shackelford and Michael Shackleford (Leah); two daughters, Belanda (Bryant) Ramsey and Crystal Burns; grandchildren, Maleah Rogers, Summer Mullinax, Brandy Mullinax, Tanner Mullinax, Selena Mullinax, Michael Smarr, Jonathan Ramsey, Emily Ramsey, Joshua (Brooke) Sinclair, Richard Shackelford, Matthew Shackleford, Tanner Turner, Tate Shackleford, and Tessa Shackleford; and four great-grandchildren, Elias Ramsey, Aiden Sinclair, Brielle Shackleford, and Noah Shackleford. Sherry was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Burns; a son, James (Ricky) Shackelford; a grandson, Drew Blackwood; two brothers, Donald “Red” Beaver and Ralph Shirah, Jr.; a sister, Sheila Jennings; and step-father, Ralph Shirah.
