Shirley Ann Sawyer

Shirley Ann Sawyer, 66, of Rock Hill SC, passed away on December 15, 2020.

Born in Rock Hill, SC on September 8, 1954 to the late John H. Meek and Dorothy W. Cauthen. Shirley graduated from Rock Hill High School and later went on to York Technical College for Accounting.

Family would describe Shirley as caring, stubborn, and sassy. She was quick witted, stuck to her guns, but had all the love in the world for those closest to her. And her continual faith in the Carolina Panthers and South Carolina Gamecocks showed her unwavering loyalty.

She will be loved and remembered by her survivors, son Danny Sawyer and wife Heather; grandchildren, Brenna and Daniel Sawyer. Two sisters, Carolyn Cauthen and Shelby Messer; and her one brother, Brian Cauthen.

The family of Mrs. Sawyer will be gathering from 2:00 until 3:00pm Saturday December 19, 2020 at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home.
