Shirley Ann Thomas

Shirley Ann Thomas, 87, of Rock Hill and formerly of Syracuse, NY, died Monday, February 22, 2016. She was an active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Syracuse where she was a former Deacon, choir member , and Women's Group participant. She was employed as a secretary in the School Districts, then for State Assemblyman Michael Bragman, and finally retired from the State College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Douglas A Thomas; and her 8 siblings, Donald, Gerald, Virginia, Dorothy, Betty, Bessie, Elsie, and Nina. She is survived by: 2 children: Jeffrey Thomas and wife Gwen, Sharman Scrivenor; 5 grandchildren: Drew, Amanda, Brynmor, Jessica, and Justin. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday February 27, 2016 at 11AM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1601 Park Street Syracuse, NY 13208.
