Soledad Anaya-Vance, 62, died on Monday January 22, 2024.

Mrs. Anaya-Vance was a daughter to the late Juan Francisco Anaya and Maria Estela Villagran Anaya. She was a graduate of UNC-Charlotte with a degree in Computer Science. She held various positions within her field throughout her career. She was also a professional translator for many years. Her hobbies included knitting, gardening, short story writing, for which she won awards, and other arts and crafts. She was a passionate learner who was always striving to advance her knowledge and skills. She loved to travel and appreciated art and architecture from other countries.

Surviving are her two daughters, Natasha Lochel, and husband Justin, Michelle Elkins, and husband Chris, a brother Pablo and his wife Rocio, sisters Anahi and Rosa, three grandchildren, Asher, Oliver, and the third on the way, and nephews Nomar and Matias. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Robert Vance.
