It is with great sadness that the family of Son Trinh announces his sudden passing Sunday, August 29, 2021 at the age of 44 in Hendersonville, NC.

Son is survived by his parents Khanh Trinh and Loan Pham of Rock Hill, SC; his sisters Thuy/ Hai Tran of Springfield, VA, Dung/Lam Tran of Fort Mill, SC, Ha Trinh/Richard Heath of Rock Hill, SC and Quyen/Johnathon Brown of Fort Mill, SC; and his brother Long Trinh of York, SC; his nieces Sarah Tran, Emma Tran, Lana Brown, Savannah Brown and Angel Heath; nephews David Tran, Ethan Brown and John Tran.

Son was preceded in death by his brother John Trinh.

Son was raised with his siblings in New Orleans and graduated from McMain Magnet Secondary School.  He later moved with his family to Rock Hill, South Carolina and attended University of South Carolina.  Son’s passion was to walk with nature, to photograph nature, and enjoy delicious food.  Son loves hiking, kickball, and acquiring knowledge about plants, animals, food, nature and the world around us.  He loved spoiling his nieces & nephews and spending quality time with family and friends.

A prayer service will be held at 6 pm on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home, 700 Heckle Blvd, Rock Hill, SC 29730.

A Funeral Mass, which will be streamed, will be celebrated on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 9 am at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 1694 Bird St, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
