Stacy Otterree Cooper

Stacy Otterree Cooper, 71, Went to Be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, March 1, 2025 at MUSC - Lancaster. He was born on September 2, 1953 in Rock Hill, SC, son of the late Otterree Cooper and Jennie Wray.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon R. Cooper his brother, Allen Cooper, and step father, Ben Wray.

Outgoing by nature, Stacy never met a stranger. He relished time spent entertaining family and friends, always cooking more than enough delicious food. Born and raised in Rock Hill, he learned early on the importance of self-sufficiency with devotion to his job at Bayer Corp. for over 40 years. He enjoyed the outdoors including fishing and hunting. 

He was a member of El Bethel United Methodist Church. As well as a member of Richburg Lodge #89.

Most important to him was his family and he will forever be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, and friend.

He leaves a lasting legacy to be cherished by his survivors, his son Richard Cooper and wife, Brandi of Catawba, SC, brother Eddie Wray of Rock Hill, SC, sisters, Karen Nicosia and husband, Nic of Rock Hill, SC, and Jeneice Denman and husband, Mack of Belton, SC, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

All services will be private following Stacy's wishes.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
