Steven Dale Wesely, 64, passed away early afternoon on January 19th, 2020 surrounded by friends and family that loved him in the comfort of his own home. He fought a long and hard battle with cancer, originally diagnosed back in 2017. Steve was a loving father and even more devoted husband.

Steve was born to Gloria and Arnold Wesely in Bellevue, IA, both of which are still alive, and has two surviving younger brothers Roger and Kelly. Steve's wife Dawn and two sons Eric and Chad still live in Fort Mill, SC.

He last worked for Joe Gibbs Racing, where he not only gained a fantastic career, but also an even better work family.

His family will be celebrating his life and achievements in completely casual attire on Saturday January 25th, 2020 at Palmetto Funeral Home located at 2049 Carolina Place Drive in Fort Mill at 3pm. The family ask monetary donations be made to Levine Cancer Institute in Rock Hill to aide research in ending cancer.
