Sue Hicks Schroeder

Rock Hill - Mrs. Miriam "Sue" Hicks Schroeder, 72, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at her home.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2013, at Inspiration Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Roland Dry officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson, SC. The family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. Friday at the church.

Mrs. Schroeder was born in Jefferson, SC and was a daughter of the late Willie Hicks and Azilee Baker Hicks.

Surviving are her husband, Charles Schroeder; a son, Scott Charles Schroeder; a daughter, Tammi Hafner; a brother, Len Hicks; four sisters, Lib Mills, Clarice Funderburk, Dianne Coles, and Carolyn Murphy; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Hicks and Garlin Hicks and two sisters, Elaine Adcock and Imogene Gann.

The family of Mrs. Sue Schroeder would like to extend our heartfelt apprecication to Barbara Matthews and Barb McGoye for the loving, compassionate care they provided Mrs. Sue Schroeder. We would also like to extend our thanks to the entire staff of Hospice Care of South Carolina for their loving care of Mrs. Sue Schroeder and her family.
