Surles Patrick Sigmon

Mr. Surles Patrick "Pat" Sigmon of Tega Cay, SC passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017.

Born in Maiden, N. C. on September 13, 2016 parents Calvin Patrick Sigmon and Fanny Urasia Skidmore Sigmon.

Mr. Sigmon was a WW II Veteran and served in the Navy aboard USS Guam (CB-2) that was an Alaska Class large cruiser and saw action in the Pacific Theater. When discharged he moved to Charlotte and lived there until late 2016 when he moved to Tega Cay after an injury and failing health to live with family.

He was a graduate of Kings Business College and retired after years of service with the US Postal Service.

Pat was a Deacon for many years at Park Road Baptist Church 3900 Park Road Charlotte, NC where his ashes will be placed in the Columbarium along side his wife's ashes.

He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Isehower Sigmon in 2009. Survivors of immediate family, daughter Cindy Sigmon Robertson, son in law Tony Robertson and grandson Thomas Robertson. The Memorial Service for Mr. Sigmon will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Park Road Baptist Church at 1 PM.
