April 1, 1963 — February 14, 2015

Tammy Rashotte, age 51, passed away, unexpectedly, after a brief illness on Saturday, February 14, 2015. She was born April 1, 1963 to Gary Finney and Ann Tucker in Mt. Pleasant, MI. She lived with her husband, Steven Rashotte, in Rock Hill, SC, for the last 7 years. The majority of their marriage, for almost 20 years, they lived in Muskegon, MI. In August 2014, they celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. Tammy loyally served as one of Jehovah's Witnesses since her dedication and baptism on June 18, 1983. She loved traveling but especially opening her home to family and friends, where you would always hear her contagious laugh and sports enthusiasm. She is survived by her husband, Steven Rashotte of Rock Hill, SC; her mother, Ann Tucker of Bay City, MI; her brother, Eric Finney of Monroe, NC; her sister, Jamie (Derrick) Glover of Midland, MI; her mother-in-law, Nancy Rashotte of Rock Hill, SC; her sisters-in-law, Marsha Phillips of Anchorage, AK, Lorrie Urbaniak of Rhodes, MI and Lisa Rashotte of Alger, MI; her brother-in-law, John Rashotte of MI; her nephews, Eric Finney, Brennan Urbaniak, Jeff Meyers, and Lucas (Chelsea) Rashotte; her nieces, Sarah Finney, Elani and Aaryana Glover, Vanessa (Craig) Hassinger, Misti Rashotte, Heidi Green, Brielle (Joshua) Wardin, Nicole Rashotte, Amorelle (Nickolas) Zaladonis; close friends Troy and Liz Genson of San Diego, CA and their children, Ashley (Micah) Redmond, Aubrey and Trey Genson; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Finney; her uncle, Faustino Torres; her aunt, Sarah Rose, and her father-in-law, Arthur Rashotte. Tammy's wishes were to be cremated. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 3 PM at the Winthrop University, Tillman Auditorium (Building with Clock Tower) 2nd Floor, 701 Oakland Avenue, Rock Hill, SC 29733. In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing may make a donation to the Rashotte family towards cremation or to Jehovah's Witnesses. A special thanks to the doctors and nurses who work at Piedmont Medical Center ICU for their wonderful care. Bass Cauthen Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
