Tanner George Robinson

Rock Hill - Mr. Tanner George Robinson, 18, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 16, 2017, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1883 Saluda Street, Rock Hill, SC 29730. The family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2017 at the church. Burial will be private.

Born in Charleston, SC, on May 15, 1999, Tanner was a son of Dr. Trevor Robinson and Kathleen Reid Robinson. He was an Eagle Scout with Troop #276 and a senior at York Preparatory Academy. Tanner loved the Lord and had planned to serve a mission for his church upon his graduation and then attend college. He loved spending time with his family, friends and his pet dogs. He was a caring big brother and good example to his brother, sisters, and cousins. Tanner loved to joke around and make people laugh. He valued honesty and always stood up for people who needed a friend. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his four sisters, Annie, Peden, Emma, and Sadie; his little brother, Rhett; paternal grandparents, George and Marion Robinson; maternal grandparents, Rick and Laura Reid; maternal great-grandmother, Lois Morton; many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly; and his close friends, Addison, Seth, Drew and Sydney.
