Terry Kearns

Terry Culp Kearns went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, June 12th after a long-fought battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born March 14th, 1949, to Hazel & Sara Culp. She Married Johnny Kearns on October 17th, 1967, and together they had 2 children, Deirdre & Cliff. She worked for many years at Fort Mill Family Practice serving the people of Fort Mill, before transitioning to the role of full-time caretaker.

Terry was a lover of the beach, and all kinds of beautiful flowers and birds- her favorite being Hummingbirds that could be frequently seen out of her kitchen window at her well stocked birdfeeders. She was a fun-loving Mother & Grandmother, investing time and love into each of her children & grandchildren in every opportunity she could. She was a caretaker by nature, and devoted over a decade to taking loved ones to medical appointments, helping with housekeeping, yardwork, cleaning, cooking etc. There truly was no task she would not do for her family or friends. This scope of selfless caretaking far exceeded her immediate family, as she lovingly cared for her mother, sister, and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.

Terry was proceeded in death by her Parents Hazel & Sara Culp, and Sister Shirley Spinks.

She is survived by her Husband of 56 years, Johhny Kearns, Daughter Deirdre Johnson, Son Cliff and his wife, Emily.  Grandchildren Jaden Johnson, Sarah Johnson, Jacob Kearns & Matthew Kearns. Siblings, Gene Culp and his wife Sandy, Patricia Laughridge, and Timmy Culp, along with many brother & sister in laws, and nieces & nephews.
