Terry Lynn Monroe

Terry Lynn Monroe, age 65, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 2, 2022, at Atrium Health Pineville, in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Born June 18, 1956, to Arden Gail and Sandra Artemus (McCall) Monroe in Harrisburg Army Base, Pennsylvania. She was a resident of Florida most of her life and relocated to North Carolina for the last five years. Terry graduated from Bucyrus High School and worked in the automobile industry as a salesperson for 20 years.

Terry was a beach lover and enjoyed being near the water. Her hobbies included playing golf and tennis. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and her precious K9 companions she thought of as her babies, Jesse, and Bella.

Terry is survived in death by her partner of 30 years, Robin Castillo; her son Chadwick Shane Monroe of Bucyrus, Ohio; grandchildren Logan Monroe of Ontario, and Brooke Monroe of New Albany; great-grandson Parker Bourke; brother Rick Monroe of Shelby, Ohio; nephew Jason (Abby) Monroe of Pearland, Texas; nieces Halsy (Andy) Paxton of Dublin, and Taylor (Julian) Fedele of Atlanta, GA; six great nieces and nephews; her sister-in-law Rosemarie (Don) Cummings; brother-in-law Scott Castillo; niece Kristen Cummings; and great nephew Orion Cummings.

In addition to her parents, Terry was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, as well as many other aunts, uncles, and relatives.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Terry Monroe will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022. Friends may call from 11:00 AM -12:30 PM at the Maranatha Christian Center 6383 State Route 61, Shelby, Ohio 44875.  A service will be held at 12:30 PM with Pastor Art Kennard officiating. There will be a dinner immediately following the service.
