Theodore "Charlie" Milam

Theodore "Charlie" Milam passed away at his home November 30, 2015 at the age of 74 after a courageous 8 year battle with PSP and Parkinsons disease, his wife Fran and daughter Michelle were by his side. He was born in Charleston, West Virginia the son of the late Romie and Pearl Milam. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Ira, sisters, Wanda, Mary Lou and Anna.

Charlie is survived by his wife Fran Milam, his daughter Michelle Angeldorf and her husband Jason Angeldorf and his grandchildren, Parker, Brady and Carson Angeldorf. Mr. Milam is also survived by four more children Karen Bratton her husband Tony; Charles (Randy) Milam his wife Tara; Shelly Milam; and Michael Milam. He is also survived by ten grandchildren: Justin Randall Hickman; Tiffany Gragg her husband Brandon; Brittany and Brandi Milam; Paris, London, Kingston, and Brooklyn Jordan; Dejah, and Sadeya Cooper, and ; and two great-grandchildren Isabella and Ava Gragg.
He is also survived by his brothers, John and Roy Milam and his sister Rose Flannagan and her husband Mike as well as many nieces and nephews. His in-laws, Fr. John Grinsell, Patricia Akers, Patrick Grinsell and his wife Dorothy, Edward Grinsell and his wife Loretha. Charlie was a loving husband, father and grandfather whose love will be felt and missed always.

Charlie was a former employee of Stronghaven, Inc. in Matthews NC. He was retired at the time of his death.

A Mass celebrating his life will be held at St. Phillip Neri Catholic Church in Fort Mill, SC on Friday December 4th at 11:30 am, celebrated by his brother in law Fr. John Grinsell of Port Chester NY.
