Thomas Joseph Cabe

Thomas Joseph Cabe, Tommy or a his family called him BoBo, went home to be with Jesus and his predeceased family members, Maxine, Thelma and Joe Cabe on Wednesday April 15 th at around 3 pm at the Wayne Patrick Community Hospice House in Rock Hill SC. Family will be receiving friends on Saturday April 18th between 11 am and 12:45 at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home 700 Heckle Blvd. Rock Hill SC. A memorial service will follow at 1 pm in the chapel. Tommy was born on April 4, 1949 and had just celebrated his 66th birthday and his 50th wedding anniversary to his childhood sweetheart Trudy Culbertson Cabe. Tommy and Trudy lived at 2434 southbend rd in Clover SC. Tommy is survived by Trudy and their 4 children, Dana (Geg) Schaff of Jacksonville NC, Dean Cabe of the home, Debbie (Timmy)Cook of Lancaster SC,and David (Sherri) Cabe of Lake Wylie SC. Tommy has 12 grandchildren, 4 grand-daughters in love, 5 great grands and 2 special four legged kids Isabell and Rudy. He has 6 nieces and 5 nephews. He leaves behind two sisters of York SC, Joanne (Wayne) Lentz owner of Flowers Etc and Peggy (Keith) Hargett owner of Bargain City of York. His younger brother Rev. Dr. John W. (Freda) Cabe is also his pastor and will be officiating the services. Tommy was the former co-owner of Cabe's Corner, York-Clover Drive In, Cabe's Store in Oakridge, The Corner Store in Gastonia, Joe's Home Improvement, Carolina Heartland Inc and Grace Development of TN as well as executive distributors for Achievers Unlimited and Club Atlanta Travel. Late in life he worked as maintenance director for Sam's Club in Gastonia NC. The most important things to Tommy were his family and his relationship with Jesus Christ as his personal savior. Tommy was a founding member of Riverside Independent Baptist Church 3248 India Hook Rd Rock Hill SC 29730. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be sent to Riverside Baptist.
