Thomas Hall Eubanks

Mr. Thomas Hall Eubanks, 88, passed away at the Westminster Health and Rehabilitation Center, on May 17, 2018, in Rock Hill, SC.

Mr. Eubanks was born in Davidson, NC, on November 11, 1929. He was the son of the late Richard Gatling Eubanks, Sr. and Lila Hall Eubanks. He was one of three children and was predeceased by his sister, Frances Eubanks Yandell, and one brother, Richard Gatling Eubanks, Jr.

Mr. Eubanks is survived by his wife of 64 years, Donna; sister-in-law, Lou Eubanks, of Red Cross; his two children, Thomas Lee Eubanks (Annette) of Rock Hill and Teresa Eubanks Whitmire of Fort Mill; three grandchildren, Jennifer Eubanks, Katharine Eubanks Wilkerson (Mark), Thomas Logan Whitmire; one great granddaughter, Charlotte Mae Wilkerson; and several nieces and nephews.

As a young man, Mr. Eubanks attended UNC Chapel Hill. He was a Veteran of the Korean War, where he served as a sergeant in the US Air Force. He worked for Weyerhaeuser for 30 years and from which he retired. Upon retirement, he and Donna traveled extensively. He was a lifelong member of Unity Presbyterian Church. Mr. Eubanks loved all things nature. He enjoyed walks in the woods, naps in his hammock and rides on his beloved tractor across the field.
