Thomas Patrick Hynson

Thomas Patrick Hynson, Tom, age 63, peacefully passed away Friday, March 25th at his home in Tega Cay, SC after a tough battle with cancer. . He was born in Wilmington, DE on October 8th, 1953 to the late Thomas E. Hynson and Elsie (Fulcomer) Hynson.

Tom attended Salesianum H.S. in Wilmington, De (Class of '70), Wooster College in Ohio, and the Goethe-Institute in Germany. He was an entrepreneur but was primarily known for his attention and dedication to family and friends; and his passion for travel, Eagles football, and golf.
He leaves behind his loving wife Beth Paris-Hynson, daughters Amy Hynson of Newark, DE, Katie Hynson of Georgetown, DE, and granddaughter Jocelyn Castelli; also former spouse Joanne McKeon of Georgetown. Additionally extended family Jason and KC Morris of Chapel Hill, NC, Becky and Greg Mello of Fort Mill, SC; Matt Morris of Charleston, SC; and Mark and Jill Morris of Chesapeake, VA and 6 other grandchildren.

Tom loved spending time with his sisters, playing golf with his brothers, and family reunions. The surviving sisters are Pat and husband John Falkowski who will officiate the memorial service, Linda and Tom Willoughby, Maryann Hynson Morrison, and brothers Gary Hynson, Timmy and Cinnamon Hynson, Sean Hynson, and Kelly and Lorraine Hynson and numerous nieces and nephews. Tom was predeceased by his brothers Roy H. Redwine and Brian Hynson and sister Terry Lynn Hynson.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday April 5th at Resurrection Parish at 3000 Videre Dr Pike Creek, Wilmington, Delaware. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 with a service of remembrance at 7:30.
