Thomas Allen Varnadore Sr.

April 4, 1947 — September 18, 2015

Thomas Allen Varnadore, Sr., 68, of Rock Hill, SC passed away Friday, September 18, 2015. Mr. Varnadore was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His family was his life. He was known for trusting nature and gentle heartedness. Mr. Varnadore would offer help to anyone in need. He also was a self-made man. He was a man dedicated to hard work and perseverance. At an early age he went to work for Springs Industry and retired with distinguished service. Another joy of his life was farming. Mr. Varnadore was preceded in death by his loving wife, Brenda Joyce Varnadore and a daughter, Patricia Dianne Robbins. He is survived by 2 sons, Thomas Allen Varnadore, Jr. (Tonya) and Mitchell Franklin Varnadore (Deana); a daughter, Beverly Dunlap (Tim); 4 siblings, Bobby Varnadore, Henry Varnadore, Viola Green and his twin sister, Ellen Davis (Ned); 9 grandchildren, Thomas Allen Varnadore, III, Quinton Chase Varnadore, Trenton Allen Varnadore, Lindsay Brooke Maupin, Emily Paige Varnadore, Andrew Isaac Pabst Sprouse, Tyler Dunlap, Hailee Robbins, and Angel Turk; and 7 great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Varnadore will be held 1pm Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Bethesda Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11am until service time at the church.
