ROCK HILL - Timothy Wayne Mansfield, 49, 1150 Barringer Road, died Friday, February 13, 2015, at his home.

Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Monday, at the Shield of Faith Church, with Drs. Larry Soles and A.L. Hensley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.

Timothy Wayne Mansfield passed away peacefully on Friday February 13, 2015. He was surrounded by loving family and dear friends at his home in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He was 49. He grew up in Ossipee North Carolina and at the age of 18 married his wife, Tanya. They celebrated their 31st Anniversary on August 26th of this past year. His first child, Danielle, was born in January of 1988 and in February of 1993 moved with his family to Rock Hill South Carolina where his second daughter, Courtney, would be born in August. He became an Assistant Pastor at his father-in-law's church as well as the children's church leader. His Family and his faith were the two most important parts of his life. He imparted the love of God to everyone he knew. A reflection of his mother's spirit, he was strong, confident and generous. He was a proud son, husband, father, and grandfather. He is the example of what dad's do, husbands are for, and Pop Pops should be. He said that whether he was able to spend more time on earth with those that he loves or eternity with his Lord and Savior, he was "in a win-win situation". He is survived by his wife, Tanya Ann Mansfield; two daughters, Danielle Albaqami and husband Medo, and Courtney Mansfield; his mother Peggy Mansfield; and two grandchildren, Leila and Nasser Albaqami. He is greatly loved and will be missed very much.
