Rock Hill - Mr. Antonio "Tony" Lamont Heath, 41, of 2067 McGee Road, died Monday, November 24, 2014, at Piedmont Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 2723 Cameron Road, McConnells, SC 29726 with Rev. Charles Kiser officiating.
A native of Rock Hill, Mr. Heath is a son of Anna Shealy Shelby and Carl Crawford, Jr. Good Ole Tony! A man of character and commitment! Blessed by God with a beautiful wife (Carrie Caines Heath) that loves him dearly and was raised by a wonderful woman (Anna Shelby). He and Carrie had an awesome marriage. Tony not only cared for his children but had unique individual relationships with each of them. His life was submerged in love and we thank God for his tenure here with us. Tony was one who kept a smile on your face with something silly to say. He loved music and his favorite car was a 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass. Tony was never too fond of water; however, he learned to swim at age 35. Tony also loved fishing, boats, nature, Ralph Lauren Polo, Lebron James and the Carolina Panthers. Tony loved all of his brothers, sisters and in-laws the same. Tony's dependable, unbreakable life is celebrated by us in spite of all! Tony exhibited a perfect husband and father example. Tony and Carrie's marriage was great and their family structure was strengthened daily with love. Carrie has been there unconditionally for Tony since day one. They love the Carolina Panthers as well as the Carolina Gamecocks. Tony was surely blessed to have a wife like Carrie and Carrie a husband like Tony. Their family bond is one we all can be proud to be apart of. In honor of Tony, lets all contribute to the support system needed to mature these kids in love and Thanksgiving.
In addition to his parents Mr. Heath is survived by his wife, Carrie Ann Caines Heath; five sons, Ta'Darius Belk (aka, D), Antonio Heath, Jr. (aka, NuNu), Davontae Heath, Trenton Heath and Anthony Heath; two daughters, Antoniya Heath and Kyana Heath; a step-son, Tyler Caines; a brother, Jackie Heath, Sr.; three sisters, Jeanne Heath, Anastacia Heath and Leandria Heath; step-brothers, Tyrone Barnette, Tony Mitchell, Keitron Mitchell, and Tavis Burnette; a step-sister, Lakeisha Mitchell; a brother-in-law, Phil Caines; and two sister-in-laws, Terri Caines (James McMarus) and Mary Rhinehart (Chuck Rhinehart).
The family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Friday at Whitesell Funeral Home.
