Troy Edward Catoe

Troy "Edward" Catoe, 91, of Lake Wylie, peacefully passed away Friday, October 18, 2024. Born August 27, 1933, in Lando, South Carolina, he was the son to the late Benjamin "Ben" Tillman and Willie Mae Bishop Catoe. Edward graduated with an Associate's degree from DeVry University and served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Troy is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Ruth Justus Catoe; sons: Edward "Ed" Barry Catoe and his wife, Teresa, and Troy Lynn Catoe; grandsons: Christopher Catoe and his wife, Elizabeth, and Cody Catoe; great grandson, Thomas Catoe; sister, Nellie Josephine Billings; sister-in-law, Margaret Lillian Justus; uncle, Bruce Catoe; and many more loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home, 700 Heckle Boulevard Rock Hill, SC 29732. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 27, in the Lando Cemetery, Lando, SC.
