Trucella Thomas Thrift

Trucella Thomas Thrift, 88, of Rock Hill passed away peacefully in her sleep Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at home. Born on August 31,1936 in Russellville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Byrd and Minnie Thomas. She was married to her late husband Burt Thrift for 62 years. Trucella loved her family and her grandchildren were the light of her world. She spent countless hours with her grandbabies and each one of them was special to her. She loved the beach and loved traveling with her family. Trucella worked in the textile industry and was retired from Celanese. Trucella was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church.

Trucella is survived by her son and daughter in law Eddie and Sandra Thrift of Rock Hill and daughter in law Sheila Thrift of York, 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband Trucella was preceded in death by her sons, Jack Thrift, Richard Thrift, and David Thrift, her granddaughter Sondra Thrift, her brothers Johnny, Elby, BT, Phillip, Millard, and Harold and her sister Estelle.

The family will receive friends at 10:00am Friday, January 24th at Lakewood Baptist Church, Rock Hill, SC with the service following at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens.
