Valerie D. Wray

Valerie D. Wray, 65, of Lake Wylie, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Atrium Health - Pineville surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 30, 1954 in Raleigh, NC, daughter of the late Joseph Charles and Nora Moser Richert.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Nicki Rowles and Misti Rowles and sisters, Sheila Harris and Cynthia Martin.

Val was a fitness addict and enjoyed taking care of herself and her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. An avid dog lover, she was the proud mom to multiple Miniature Schnauzers. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her best friend and husband, Greg Wray; son, Brian Wray and wife, Kristin of Englewood, OH; grandchildren, Nycole Jordan, Curtis Jordan, Lacey Delaney and Ellie Wray; sister, Kim Goldman of FL; brothers, Chuck Richert of CO and Ronnie Terrell of OH; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
