Verne Douglas Phillips 88, of Rock Hill SC died on February 1, 2017. Verne is survived by his wife Willie M. Phillips. Daughter Terryl Ann Phillips of Los Angelas, CA. Sons Steven Douglas Phillips of Everett, MA, Vali Olinga Phillips (Sarah) of Tigard, OR. A sister Opal Marie Sweeney of Los Angeles, CA and 3 grandchildren. A service will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 10AM at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens.
