Victor Tuzzo, 90, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on October 26, 1934, to the late Victor A. Tuzzo and Rose Rovero Tuzzo, Victor lived a life full of dedication, hard work, and love for his family.
He proudly served in the Navy, where he had the opportunity to travel the world. After his service, he pursued a career as a carpenter, eventually becoming a master carpenter, a trade he was passionate about for many years. Later, he worked as the head custodian for the St. Johnsbury School District before retiring. Vermont was his home, where he raised his family in the home that he built, and found joy in carpentry and tending to his yard.
Victor is survived by his daughters, Rae-Lynne Tuzzo (Lara Thane) and Victoria Tuzzo (Justin Hadsel); his life partner, Rae Michelson; his sister, Marie Cisowski (Roger Cisowski); and his niece, Michelle Cyr and nephew, Phil Cyr, as well as great nieces and nephews. He was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren: Angalina, Brian, Warren, Miles, and Juliette.
A celebration of his life will be held in May.
