Virginia Maraline (Tritt) Clark

November 14, 1936 — February 9, 2018

Virginia Maraline Tritt Clark passed away at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House surrounded by her loved ones on February 9, 2018. She was born November 14, 1936, in Cleveland County, NC, to the late Lander Eugene Tritt and Elsie Virginia Cabaniss Tritt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Wayne Tritt. Maraline graduated from high school and immediately joined the Air Force where she met and married her instructor, C.C.! She worked at Celanese, Community Cash and eventually decided to be a hair dresser for life. She loved the people she met through her job and served on the State Board of Cosmetology. She also taught: "Look Good, Feel Better" classes for Cancer patients. She was a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church for most of her life, she was President of the Women of the Church twice, she received a Lifetime Membership Award and ran a Wednesday night kitchen committee for many years for which she received the "Silver Spoon" award created just for her. To remember her fondly and smile at the many memories they made together are her husband of 61 years, C.C. Clark, her daughters, Karen Clark (Steve) Pounds and Angela D. Clark (Wendy Driggers). Celebrating their many memories with her are her granddaughter, Carly N Clark Huneycutt and her great grandchildren, Caleb E. Idlett and Cheyenne B. Idlett. She loved spoiling her granddaughter and her great grandchildren. Missing her every day also will be her sister, Patricia Ladrie, her brother, Ronnie Tritt, her sister, Judy T. Joplin and sister, Kathy T. Holton. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, February, 12 at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home, 700 Heckle Blvd., and other times at the home at 1911 Lakeview Drive, Rock Hill. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 13th at Ebenezer ARP at 2132 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill with Reverend Matt Allison presiding and Dr. Mel Wines assisting.
