Virginia A. Pinochet

Mrs. Virginia Ernestine Autry Satterfield Pinochet, 80, passed away Friday, May 6, 2011 at Piedmont Medical Center. A native of Gainesville, GA Mrs. Pinochet was a daughter of the late Grover Ernest and Ida Mae Autry. Born on April 5, 1931 she was a devoted wife, mother and sister who spent her life caring for her family and friends. She was also a graduate of Winthrop College, and of the Methodist faith. Surviving are her husband James Pinochet; a son Franklin William Satterfield of Gainesville, GA; three daughters Virginia Ann Pinochet Rhoades of Jacksonville, FL, Susan Denise Pinochet of Atlanta, GA, Deirdre Patricia Pinochet of Rock Hill; a sister Zella Autry Wilbanks also of Gainesville, GA; and one granddaughter Raquel Laverne Rhoades of Jacksonville. The family has requested that services for Mrs. Pinochet be private.
