Viriginia (Plyler) Keeffe

Fort Mill, SC – Mrs. Mary Viriginia Plyler Keeffe, 93, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 12, 2024, at her home.

The family will have a drop in at the home, 1020 Harper Keefe Road, Indian Land, SC 29707, on Monday, July 15, 2024, from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Whitesell Funeral Home and a funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm.  Burial will be in Pineville City Cemetery.

A native of Pineville, NC, Mrs. Keeffe was a daughter of the late J.Van Jones Plyler and Annie Mae Watts Plyler. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.  Everyone who knew her remembers that she was loving towards everyone.  She loved her Lord and Savior and enjoyed serving Him.  She enjoyed making biscuits for her family.  In her younger years she played basketball and was a graduate from East Mecklenburg High School.  She will be missed by all.

Surviving are her three children, Terry Keeffe (Jackie), Debbie Keeffe and Carolyn Broadwell (Ken);  a brother, Daniel Ray Plyler (Linda); a sister, Francis Fischer (Richard); 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, T.C. Keeffe, a sister, Faye Adams; a brother, Gilbert Plyler; two great-grandchildren, Hayden Ramsey and Brianna Bracy.
