Vivian Neal Murphy

Vivian Neal Murphy, age 94, went to be with her Lord and Savior, April 8, 2018. She was born in Rock Hill, SC to William Thomas and Bertha Stowe Neal. Vivian worked in the textile industry. She was a precious saint and matriarch of her family. She was the last of her 12 siblings and a wonderful example of the Christian faith. She was strong and faithful until her final breath.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2018, from 11:00 am - 12:00 noon at Sisk Memorial Baptist Church of Fort Mill, SC. The funeral will follow at 12 noon.

Vivian was preceded in death by her late husband Roy Thomas Murphy, a daughter; Frances Morrison, a son; Jimmy Murphy, and a great grandson; Matthew Woelffer. She is survived by two daughters; Phyllis Deese of St Clairsville, OH and Wanda Fortson (and husband, Mitchell) of Fort Mill, SC and a son; David Murphy(and wife, Derlene) of Fort Mill, SC, a son-in-law; William Morrison of Lancaster, SC and a daughter-in-law; Gay Murphy of Denver, NC.

Her legacy continues with 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to, Fruitful Hill Ministries, Matthew Woelffer Scholarship Fund through GraceLife Pineville or Hospice & Palliative Care - Palmetto.
