Vivian Delores Stroud

Vivian Delores Stroud, 72 transitioned into eternal life on August 24, 2021. She was born on March 25, 1949 to the late John T. Aiken and Lillian Wheeler Aiken.

Outgoing by nature, Vivian never met a stranger. She relished time spent being with family and friends.  She also enjoyed spending time planting and growing her garden.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas Aiken Sr. and Lillian Wheeler Aiken, and her brother, John Thomas Aiken Jr.

Vivian lives on in the hearts and minds of all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughters, Cerelia Branham (Melvin) of Waxhaw, NC and Tedrina Stroud of Woodbridge, Virginia; three sisters, Janice Shelton (Edward), Phyllis Mayfield (Daryal), Sandra Gordon (Edmund); three grandsons, Tre Branham, Brycen Branham and Caleb Branham; and a host of nieces , nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home.

A service will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home with the burial immediately following at Crown Memorial Park in Charlotte, NC
