Wayne Henderson

Wayne Henderson, 83, formerly of Edgemoor, SC passed away March 7, 2014 at White Oak Manor in Rock Hill. He was born September 21, 1930 in Marshall, NC to the late Amos & Virgie Gosnell Henderson. Mr. Henderson was employed at Rock Hill Painting & Finishing for 34 years and then Oxford Printing & Finishing for 12 years while living n Henderson NC. He is survived by a son, Rusty Henderson, of Rock Hill; his former wife and caregiver Peggy Steele Henderson, of Rock Hill; 2 sisters, Dorothy Hensley, of Columbia, SC, Creola Raligh (James), of Mercersburg, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son and daughter, David Allen and Gloria Jane; 5 brothers, Amos "Junebug" Jr & Homer Henderson, Joe, Claude, and Glen Landers. A Graveside Service will be held Monday, March 10, 2014 at 1:00pm in Grandview Memorial Park with Rev. Larry Soles officiating. The family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to all the staff at White Oak Manor in Rock Hill for the many acts of kindness and the wonderful care given to Wayne while he was living at the facility. Also to the staff of Hospice and Community Care for their loving support.
