Wesley Simms

Rock Hill - David Wesley Simms, 19, died Tuesday, August 9, 2016.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2016, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Rock Hill Ward. Burial will be private.

Wesley is survived by his mother, Noreen Laura Robinson-McCollum; his father, David Aaron Simms, his step-mother, Maureen Simms; three brothers, Alex Simms, Jacob McCollum and Wyatt Simms, two sisters, Sydney Simms and Lauren Simms.

Wesley was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Wesley was a son, a brother, a grandson and a best friend. He was an avid outdoorsman and was at home on the water or in the woods. He had love in his heart for all that he met and he made it impossible for people to not love him back. He brought joy and light wherever he went. He was truly a blessing to everyone who knew him

The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Friday, August 12, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Rock Hill Ward.

Because Wesley was an avid outdoorsman the family request that memorial donations be made to The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, Take One Make One, c/o Joelean Wright, 510 Annie Alexander Court, York SC 29745.
