William (Billy) Dixon

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William “Billy” Alfred Dixon on February 15, 2025. 

A celebration of Billy’s life will be held on March 1, 2025, at 3:00 pm at the Crescent Shrine Club located at 2065 McConnell’s Hwy, Rock Hill, SC 29732.  The family will receive friends between 2:00 pm – 5:00pm. 

Billy is survived by his father, James “Jimmy” Dixon, Sr. (Bonnie); his wife, Trayanna; his children, William Clay, Preston Cade, Cian James, Jaxson Parker and Emma Monteen Dixon; his granddaughter, Paisley; brothers, James “Jimmy” Dixon, Jr. and David “Charlie” Dixon; and his sister, Angela (Darryl) Giles.  He is proceeded in death by his mother, Christine Monteen Dixon.

Billy was a devoted husband, dedicated father, cherished friend, and extremely hardworking man who left an unforgettable mark on everyone who knew him.  Born on September 2, 1974, Billy lived his life with kindness, strength, and an unshakable love for his family.  Billy was more than a husband and a father; he was a mentor, a protector, and a source of unwavering support for all of his family, whom he loved more than life itself. His generosity and warmth made him a father figure to many beyond his own family, always offering guidance and a helping hand whenever needed.  A man of immense dedication, Billy found passion in his work, earning the nickname "Treeman" through years of tireless labor and a deep respect for nature.  His hard work was matched only by his big heart.

Billy’s legacy will live on through the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the countless lives he touched. While he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit remains strong in the hearts of those who loved him.

His memory will forever stand tall like the trees he loved, strong, steady, and deeply rooted in our hearts. Rest easy, “Treeman”, you will be missed beyond words.
