William L Dale

William L. Dale, 68, passed away at Levine & Dickson - Southminster in Cahrlotte, NC, Tuesday, March 28, 2017. Born to the late Robert and Alice Bean Dale on January 19, 1949, in Saco, Maine.

Mr. Dale was a veteran in the Army. He was an avid golfer. Before he retired he ran amateur golf tournaments for ESPN. His grandchildren were the light of his life.

He survived by his loving wife Marie Dale of Fort Mill, SC, two sons William L Dale, Jr. of Indian Land, SC, and Matthew J. Dale and his wife Kandis of Brandon, Fl. He also leaves behind two grandchildren Emma R Dale and William L Dale, III both of Indian Land, SC.

Services are private.

Family is being served by Palmetto Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 2049 Carolina Place Drive Fort Mill, SC.
