William Powell

Rock Hill - Mr. William Dessmond Powell, 79 passed away on February 23, 2011, at Piedmont Medical Center.

The family will have services in private.

Dess was the son of the late Grady Powell and the late Josie Morris. Mr. Powell was a retired truck driver from Winn Dixie. He was a member of West End Baptist Church.

He is survived by his two daughters Kim Belue and Tammy Ayers of Spartanburg; his brothers Pete Powell of Rock Hill and Raymond Powell of Georgia and his two sisters, Annette Jordan and Rena Shaw of Rock Hill. He had grandchildren, nieces and nephews
