William M. Roberts

Rock Hill-- William M. Roberts, Sr, 78, a lifelong resident of Rock Hill, died Wednesday, November 25, 2015. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church and retired from Cone Mills in Pineville, NC. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James "Jimmy" W. Roberts and Jerry Dean Roberts. He is survived by: his wife of 56 years: Helen B. Roberts; 4 children: Billy Roberts, Melissa Ballard & husband Terry, Laura Ervin & husband Curtis, Susan Craven & husband Vince; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 2:00pm in the Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Laurelwood Cemetery. The family receive friends from 1:00pm until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice and Community Care in Rock Hill.
