Zande Mumba Mathies

Zande Mumba Mathies passed away on February 21, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center. The Family will receive visitors on Saturday March 1st from 6pm until 8pm at Palmetto Funeral Home in Fort Mill.The Memorial service will be held on Sunday March 2nd at 3pm at Palmetto Funeral Home. Zande was born in Zambia and moved to the US when he was 7. He met the love of his life Sarah Jo Hiller at Fort Mill High School and they married in 2007. Their daughter, Kylie, was born in 2010. He was a long time associate of Walmart. Zande was preceded in death by his mother Tasila Mathies and his brother Eddie Mathies. He is survived by his wife Sarah Jo (Hiller) and daughter Kylie Esnare of Fort Mill; His grandmother, Yezi Mumba and Uncle, Lovemore Mumba of Zambia; His father Brian Mathies, aunt Esnare Mumba and cousins Ismail Twininge and Fungai Mumba of Fort Mill.
