Robert Newhouse, Bob, 62, of York, South Carolina and formerly El Paso, Texas, went to be with the lord and savior, August 5, 2021, in the ICU surrounded by his wife, son, daughter, and sister. He was born on June 3, 1959, in El Paso, Texas, son of the late Inge Hilderbrand and William Newhouse. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew Edward West.
Kind and loving by nature, he always helped someone when he could, that always included animals. He was the type of person that anyone could talk to and that was willing to be a friend to anyone. He loved spending time with friends and family, watching television with his wife and daughter every evening. He loved experiencing new things and food while showing his daughter how to cook. He loved singing, making new music and showing people his love of God and his faith, as he wore a Christian t-shirt every day.
Most important to Robert, was his family and his pets. He never stopped showing either of them love or being there for comfort. He loved his wife and was an attentive and proud husband. He loved his children and showed that by being there when they needed him. He will be remembered as a loving and kind man. He will be remembered as a husband, father, uncle, brother, and friend.
He will be remembered for the good he put into the world and the 20 years he put into being in the Navy. He worked for Microsoft, General Dynamics, and was currently employed by Communications & Power Industries.
He leaves a legacy of music and love to his survivors, his wife Christina; his children Alexander Skinner, Sabastian Pusey, and Samantha Pusey; his siblings Rick Newhouse, Heidi Forgach, Bill Newhouse, Tammy West, and Christine Reed; and his extended family.
A celebration of life will be held by the family Saturday ,August 21, 2021 at his sisters residence, 431 Rockwell Circle, Rock Hill SC 29730.
