Terry Lynn (Eddington) Latham

Great Falls, SC - Terry Lynn Eddington Latham age 57 gained her Angel Wings on Friday, October 28, 2022, at Medical University S.C. in Lancaster.

Memorial services will be 5:00 pm, Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Whitesell Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Terry was born in Rock Hill, SC on October 3, 1965, and she was a daughter of the late LC and Virginia Eddington.  Terry loved going to the mountains and beaches and listening to Bluegrass music, fishing, and floating down the river.  She loved treasure hunting at yard sales and auctions, but most of all, she loved spending time with Ellie her “Butterfly.”  She loved driving down the road and waiting for Ellie to say Mawmaw play our song. The finger snapping, smiles and singing to their song “Honky Tonk Angel” by Kitty Wells and other country songs.  She will be remembered as a very good cook and anytime she invited you for a meal, you were sure to get a delicious meal.

Our love for Terry will always live in our hearts. She is now free to walk in the fields of Sunflowers with butterflies and soar with the Angels. We will meet again.

Terry is survived by her partner, Doug Freeman; three sisters, Teresa “Tee” Eddington, Tina Pendleton (BJ) and Crystal Stauffer (Derek); a brother Tony Eddington; her former husband, Mike Latham; two children, Tosha “Nichole and Heather Lynn Latham; five grandchildren, Austin, Brianna, Khloe, Mannie and her butterfly, as she called her, Ellie; a great-grandson, Journey; five nieces, Amanda, Melissa, Shanna, Christy, and Brittany; four nephews, Kurtis, Ryan, Brandon, and TJ; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and her special “sister”, Gloria Skinner; and her river buddy, Debbie Timmons.

We will miss her and cherish our memories with Terry. She loved her family and friends and was always someone you could count on.  Our comfort is knowing she is reunited with her parents who were waiting to meet her in Heaven.
